Custom Chrome Tanks are manufactured on precision production lines using the deep drawing process. The welds are made in a special low-temperature welding process to ensure symmetrical shapes. They are designed for mounting on 4-speed FL, FX and FXWG models (also Low Rider, but not FXST) with Fat Bob or Low Rider tank covers and OEM or accessory fuel taps with 13/16" thread (CCI #25245 and 25243), as well as extra high flow fuel taps (pingel etc.) and are offered in versions for use with bayonet or screw-in tank covers (from 84).
